A past video of Kapseret MP Oscar Sudi passionately defending Former DP Rigathi Gachagua is now making rounds on social media, days after he launched a scathing attack against Riggy G.
In the viral clip, Sudi is seen addressing Gachagua's critics, urging them to back off and give him credit.
"Naona mnaingilia Rigathi Gachagua sana sijui amefanya nini. Gachagua is the best deputy president kwa Kenya hii. Hakuna mwingine amewai patikana mwenye akili kama huyu na anajua ile kitu inatakikana," Sudi said in the video.

The MP also appeared to warn against any political cooperation with the opposition: "Hio handshake, tawe! Hakuna mambo ya handshake. Utuongeleshe mambo ya kwenda nyumbani, retirement, ofisi ya opposition tutakupangia."
His comments seemed aimed at ODM leader Raila Odinga, with social media users now drawing ironic comparisons between the old video and current political realignments.
The viral clip has sparked heated discussion online, with users questioning political consistency.
@babalucky254 asked, "What is the reason behind politicians making false statements? One of the primary reasons is simple. So long as they're elected they get access to power and money"
@kokondk said, "It goes without saying, all politicians are double-speak. Pick anyone and check his/her past audio video"
@kailavinie added, "Internet doesn't forget!"
The resurfaced video now creates an embarrassing backdrop to Sudi's recent verbal assault on Gachagua during the Kapseret Constituency Economic Empowerment event, where he slammed the former DP for constantly criticizing President William Ruto's administration.
"We are going to impeach you again in Mt. Kenya if you continue disrespecting Ruto. Your work is to talk about William Ruto. When you go to sleep and when you wake up, all you talk about is William Ruto. Has he become your wife?" Sudi questioned.
Taking aim at Gachagua's development record, Sudi continued his attack: "He is speaking from Murang'a, saying that the motorbikes and vehicles we are donating here are from Ruto. Aren't we equally capable men? We are delivering to our people. You have served in the government for two years, and you failed to make friends. You spoke every day from Mt. Kenya, show us even a toilet that you constructed in the region"
