Kenya: Integrated marketing communications agency Redhouse Group has marked the first anniversary of its Women Leadership Initiative with a leadership and networking forum aimed at nurturing women for managerial and leadership positions in the marketplace and community.
The initiative was founded by Director of Redhouse Group and Managing Director of BBDO MediaEdge Esther Ngomeli. Speaking at the forum, Ms Ngomeli noted the group has taken decisive strides to recognise and reward high-performing women in leadership and senior management roles in an industry that caps the careers of women at middle management.
Redhouse Group CEO Koome Mwambia, said achieving gender equality, equity and woman empowerment are accepted development goals essential to power Vision 2030 aspirations, adding that opportunities and challenges must be reflected in the marketplace as in the community.
