Area police boss Johnston Ipara said four people were arrested.
“Police swiftly responded and saved the situation, which could have turned bloody. They arrested four culprits,” said Ipara.
He noted the incident arose from a tussle over land.
The ‘old native’ group was reportedly angered by their rival’s move to construct a mosque on the same parcel of land.
