Elsewhere, a section of University of Nairobi students went on the rampage Wednesday night and stoned motorists along State House Road after a power blackout.
Police were forced to use teargas canisters to disperse the rowdy students who damaged vehicles and robbed some of the occupants.
The students claimed power blackouts have been persistent in their hostels affecting their studies. Anti-riot police were sent to the area and managed to drive away the students.
