NAIROBI, KENYA: Police over the weekend arrested at least 51 youth suspected to be members of a gang that has been terrorising residents in Eastleigh, Nairobi.
Police made the arrests following complaints by the public over harassment by the gang that is alleged to be involved in extortion and blackmail.
Police said the suspects will be taken to court to face charges related to being members of an illegal organised gang and assault.
Police said the operation to rid Eastleigh of the gang will continue.
