E-commerce. You can now pay for your Uber ride using your Visa-branded debit card.
Taxi-hailing firm Uber and payments firm Visa have entered into a partnership deal that will see the latter firm work with several banks to allow their customers make payments through the platform.
The banks are KCB, Co-operative Bank, Equity Bank and Barclays Bank. The deal will also see riders accumulate free rides by using their cards.
