Insecurity in North Rift still worrying

The insecurity in several parts of North Rift is worrying despite recent assurances from the Government that the bandits will be decimated.

The region has been left without hope for peaceful coexistence among the different tribes living in the area due to frequent attacks.

Many people are fleeing their homes amid speculation from politicians allied to the ruling Government that police reservists and paramilitary police will be deployed to the region.

Peace in Baringo, Laikipia and Marakwet must be reinstated urgently for the people to find the true meaning of life.
