Nairobi, Kenya: Former Nairobi Mayor George Aladwa has been arrested by Flying Squad in Nairobi's Central Business District over alleged ethnic hatred and incitement to violence.
He is being held at Kilimani Police Station.
The arrest comes after a video emerged in which Aladwa is heard inciting a charged crowd in Kibra, Nairobi during Mashujaa Day.
In the video, he is seen and heard saying that for Raila Odinga to be a President, Kenyans may have to spill blood.
He is the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) Nairobi Branch Chairman.
