Men don’t give a second look or thought to everyone a woman greets or has a quick chat with at a social function or on the streets.
But women never rest until they know every detail about all strangers — especially pretty women — that their man has a quick conversation with.
Even then, women go Googling the stranger’s name. Some have been known to create fake accounts to stalk other women on Facebook or Twitter in a desperate attempt to try and sniff out whether there is some monkey business going on between them and their husbands or boyfriends.
For such women, sirens ring loud when a man fails to introduce them as ‘fiancés’, ‘wives’ or ‘girlfriends’ — especially to members of the opposite sex. They forget that it could be an oversight because of the many important things going on in a man’s mind.

That is why an innocent man gets subjected to a vicious cold war. He may even be denied conjugal rights for months for merely introducing her as Jane to a nun they met at a dispensary.
The insecurity of such women is so severe that they can’t trust a man around any other female and are always needling him to ‘confess’.

Men shouldn’t be questioned like small boys. Polygamy has never been illegal in this country anyway.
Let men be. The fact that you live in his house and the other woman doesn’t — even if she is a mistress — should be sufficient security to even the most insecure woman.
Warning other women not to go anywhere near your man is also defeatist. It is your man approaching other women, not the other way round so let them be.
Going as far as fighting women you suspect to be ‘moving’ with your husband is silly. If you must, beat him instead.
Finally, policing a man has never worked. Even if you spent the whole day following him around with binoculars, and he wanted to try something, he would.
