Lawyer Judith Guserwa has been named the deputy chairman of the tribunal probing Supreme Court Judge Phillip Tunoi.

The lawyer was picked by the other six members to assist the Judges and Magistrates Vetting Board Chairman Sharad Rao with the investigations into the Sh200 million bribery allegations against Justice Tunoi.

The tribunal will be sitting at the Anniversary Towers and will have a pre-trial conference on March 31 in order to decide if the hearing will be held in camera or in public.
