They say babies are such a sweet and nice way to start people.
If you have that beautiful baby growing, or you just welcomed an angel to this world, you know you have a job to make them happier.
So spare some money and let’s go shopping, at least for three items.
Nairobi’s Biashara Street gets the medal for offering children’s stuff, and here we try baby bouncers, a rocker and a few play mats.

Babies are a clever calibre, always longing to feel the warmth of a mother and be cuddled. Of course every parent wants to offer that, but for how long?
A baby bouncer and a play mat would keep the child busy while you do other chores.
According to Vishl Barot, a manager we met at one of the shops on Biashara Street, the two items used separately sharpen a baby’s sense of smell, sight and tightens their grip on stuff. The rattles that hung on the bouncers and mats are toys, but also help the child to try lifting themselves up to touch them, strengthening bones around the neck.
"And as they throw themselves up and down the bouncers, they exercise their limbs," Barot said.
Most of those we got were two or three in one; others also served as portable prams, beds or seats because they can be reclined.
This, however, is not the place to start feeding the baby.
Note that the items are best for babies between ages three and eight months.
