Mugithi star Samidoh has cut ties with his long-time manager and friend Moses Marite.
Through a statement, Samidoh said Marite was no longer authorised to transact on his behalf.
"Take notice that Samidoh Entertainment terminated services of one Moses Kimani Marite...He is not authorised to transact any business, negotiate or enter into any contract on behalf of Samidoh," read the statement in part.
It is unclear why Samidoh decided to severe ties with Marite, who has been his close friend for a long time.
Our efforts to get a comment from the musician and his new management did not bear fruit.
Online, some of his followers urged him to resolve his differences with Marite, whom they claimed was there for him when he was starting out.

"Unless he has messed up big time, friends should part ways with a handshake. And then you let it pass silently. He may have made one or two mistakes but he is still the same person who was there when no one else believed in your humble beginnings," wrote one Facebook user.
"What happened to your village mate bruh , work your differences man , he is the reason you this far ,mmetoka mbali na Sana na Marite , just give him a second chance and everything will be okay , he is the best manager ever , just raise his salary," wrote another.
Others, however, supported Samidoh saying professionalism is key.
"Well done someone taking advantage of your talent and your work it's not good at all."
"Kila mtu atosheke na mshahara,it's lesson to everyone."
