Amber Ray is doting on her new partner businessman Jamal Marlow months after her highly-publicized 'split' from singer Brown Mauzo.

Amber gushed about her lover on Thursday when she shared several new photos, from his birthday shots of her with Marlow, telling the Emaar Group of Companies boss, “The only man who fell in love with both Faith and Amber...I’m so proud and happy to have you as my pillar and partner in crime. I know they say perfect doesn’t exist but you are more than I ever wished for. Damn! I’ve never felt so obliged to do right by someone. Happy birthday, soulmate.”
Fans and celebrities were quick to congratulate Amber and Marlow. "You deserve all the happiness in the world my darling," Citizen TV anchor Lilian Muli wrote on Instagram. “Ghai, finally our inlaw has been let out....tunavuka mwaka na clarity,” added Wanjiku Kariuki. While disc jockey, actress and TV personality Pierra Makena posted, “Yaaaaaaaaaaas!!!!!”
Opening up about her new relationship four days ago, the socialite expressed relief from her past lover saying she was happy in her new relationship. “Coming from a toxic relationship it’s so hard dating a mature and caring man ... like he just apologises straight away. Now, what must I do with my petty a** anger? A post interpreted by some as targeting Mauzo who months ago reportedly left her for socialite and entrepreneur Vera Sidika.
Setting the record straight in a Standard Entertainment and Lifestyle interview, however, Mauzo said he and Amber never dated. “Amber Ray and I have never dated. We have been friends and never did we ever get into a relationship. I don't understand why all this drama is coming from now. We were friends for a long time even when I was still getting close to bae (Vera Sidika). In fact, bae knew about it...” he said.
Adding: “Whatever we were doing was simply business. At no point did she ask for a relationship and at no point did I ask for one. People could have assumed so but she can't. Not that I have anything against her but I am just shocked seeing stories on blogs discussing my love affair with her.” A U-turn from his 2019 declaration soon after Amber’s birthday when he announced that they were in love - “It is true, it is not rumors. People can clearly see from our social media that we are together.”

Amber Ray was previously linked to another city businessman, to whom she was allegedly married to as a second wife for almost three years, before parting ways two years ago. Explaining the decision, Amber stated on her Instagram account that she was charting her own course. “It’s about time I share with you this very important move in my life, which will also set some of you free because you have been waiting for this day for way too long and I do not want to continue holding you hostage. I apologize to my son and my family for all the insults they have had to bear in the past because of my decisions. Let there be peace because I have my own life to live, dreams to chase and goals to fulfil.”
