Eric B has paid tribute to his 28-year-old daughter, Erica Supreme Barrier, after she was killed in a car crash on Sunday morning.
In a statement to Sister 2 Sister, Eric B wrote: "Please continue to keep our family in prayer as we now prepare to lay Erica to rest."
According to a police report that that was published by People, Erica was driving northbound on I-91 near exit 22 in Cromwell, Connecticut.
It was then stated that she stopped her Mini Cooper Countryman in the middle lane, where the vehicle was hit by a Penske truck at 12.37 am.
According to the State of Connecticut Department of Emergency Services and Public Protection Division of State Police, Erica "sustained serious injuries" and was taken to Hartford Hospital.

She was pronounced dead on Monday evening.
The police have reported that the "investigation is ongoing" while the 28-year-old truck driver "was uninjured as a result of the collision."
Eric B, who rose to fame alongside side his rap partner Rakim, shared a video of his daughter on Instagram, which showed her performing with him on stage.
Captioning the clip, Eric wrote: "My daughter Erica. She thinks she’s my twin and my boss."

He then shared numerous photos of Erica on his Instagram story before thanking friends for their tributes.
Sharing a throwback photo of him with his daughter, Eric captioned the snap: "Thank you all for the well wishes!!! Love y’all Eric B.”
Rakim shared his condolences on Monday in a post on his Facebook page.
The rapper wrote: "Deepest of condolences to my brother Eric B. and all of the extended family.
"This evening, his daughter Erica passed on after sustaining injuries in an automobile accident.

"Erica was the brightest of stars and while we miss her physical form greatly, we will celebrate her life and her energy eternally. Please put a blessing in the air.”
Another rap legend, LL Cool J, also honoured Erica on Instagram, writing: "My love and condolences to you @therealdjericb. Erica’s mother and the rest of your family & Friends. May your daughter rest peacefully."
