A man impersonating a Kenya Revenue Authority agent yesterday denied charges of importing and clearing three stolen vehicles valued at Sh50 million.
Emanuel Ragira had declared the three cars, two Range Rovers and a Mercedes Benz, as household goods.

The cars were allegedly stolen from the UK.
Ragira denied the charges before Chief Magistrate Edna Nyaloti and was released on a Sh2m bond with an alternative cash bail of Sh200,000.

KRA Commissioner of Investigation and Enforcement Department David Yego said the stolen vehicles were destined for Uganda and were seized at the Port of Mombasa by KRA, in conjunction with local and international law enforcement agencies.
