Champion, the son of Radio Maisha presenter Mwende Macharia has today, July 10, turned six.
To mark his birthday, Macharia took to Instagram and in an emotional message recounted the day she ‘forcefully' welcomed Champion to the world.
“So my son Champion like the Champion he is didn't come on time, he delayed by two weeks and so I had to be induced.
“Early morning on the 9th July 2013, I wore my best maternity dress, did my make up, and accompanied by my family we headed to mater Hospital so that I could be induced and have my son,” she said.
According to the queen of the airwaves, Champion was born in 2013 after 10 hours of labour. “Happy 6th birthday to the real deal Champion,” she concluded.
A section of the radio host's fans joined in with sweet messages to baby Champion as he celebrated his big day.
