Muthoni the Drummer Queen (MDQ) and Musa Omusi have made it Instagram official!
The singer and art director confirmed they are dating on November 23 in a video, Muthoni sang for him happy birthday while the couple kissed and posted it on her page, “Mine happy birthday love,” she posted.
The comments section was filled with adorable messages: “When bae wants to record a video but all you wanna do is make out happy birthday @musaomusi live long,” commented actor Nick Mutuma. “Kupendwa raha jamani”, added Brenda Wairimu.
According to a Heads Up source, the couple has been dating for four years.
In an interview with Elle South Africa magazine, Musa describes himself as an illustrator and art director behind the Nairobi-based creative studio Made With Love.
Talking about his work, he said, “I developed an interest in art at the age of nine, influenced by my uncle who is a painter. Around the same time, I fell in love with comics Bongo Man, Juha Kalulu, Bogi Benda, Asterix, Tintin, Andy Capp and Beano.
“I spent my free time reading them and getting lost in each character’s world and taking on their adventures and wonderings. My art is aimed at presenting my authentic expression and perspective of my experiences, stemming from a place of purpose and understanding.”
