Barely days after existing Nation TV’s popular drama show Auntie Boss, Nyce Wanjeri popularly known as Shiro has landed a new role in a new drama series at Inooro TV.
The award-winning actress will be featuring in a drama series dubbed Ithaga Riene, which be airing every Friday on vernacular Inooro TV at 8.30pm.
The elated actress shared the news to her fans through her Instagram page.
”People of God, mliuliza ndio hii moja kabla zingine zikuje. Huko ndiko mojawapo ya masehemu ambayo muchene ilipelekwa! 8.20pm tonight on Inoro TV” posted Wanjeri.
One fan, who felt left out simply because they don’t understand the vernacular language, wanted to know if Wanjeri has something in different language.
Wanjeri went ahead to hint that more is on the way.
Not so long ago, she won best actress award at the AMVCAs, beating the likes of Rita Dominic, Adesua Etomi among others, who are considered some of the greatest actors in Africa.
About two weeks ago, Nyce Wanjeri announced that Tuesday, the 18th of September would be her last episode as Shiro of Auntie Boss on NTV.
In a long post on Facebook, she disclosed that after 3 years, 15 seasons and 200 episodes on NTV, it was time to bid the role of Shiru Warugongo and the Auntie Boss set good bye.
It was alleged that she was shown the door for asking for a pay rise and better terms following her nomination and win at the AMVCA2018.
