NTV’s the Trend host Amina Abdi was on Friday night juggling knives after Nairobi’s sensational 80-year-old car system repairer,Cecilia Wangari, called her out for holding a short interview.

It all started after Amina told Wangari that the time for their interview was almost up, a move that seemed to have jerked the granny to express her displeasure live on TV.

Wangari could not hide her disappointment, telling the anchor off for “not listening” and “allowing time to elapse.”

Kabla uende ju muda kidogo inatuishia..." said Amina.

But before she could finish, Wangari interjected, “Aaai hio muda isiishe, kama ulikua unaniita uliniita uniskize lakini usiniambie muda imeisha ulikua unaiita kufanya nini?”

“Whaaaat!” gasped Amina as she let out a cheeky laugh, amused at the turn of events.

“Nakuuliza ulikua unaniita studio kufanya nini, nakuambie uskize na Kenya mzima iskize si wewe peke yako,” added Wangari.

“Wanaskiza shosho,” Amina responded as the hearty exchange grinded on.

“Nauskie kutoka dakika hii!Ukiskia tutaelewana na ukikosa kuskia hatutaelewana,” she fired back.

Ehe, me nimekuskia,” pleaded Amina.

The ‘hair raising moment’ was soon over just like it started and the interview then went on ahead without any further incident.

Wangari owns Shosh Sound Systems in Kariobangi, Nairobi, and became an internet sensation after being featured by the Standard over her work.

She has been installing and repairing sound systems in cars for three decades.
