Former Hot 96 FM presenter Jalang’o has said he has no beef with Jeff Koinange for calling him stupid.
The duo, who hosted the morning show together had a small argument as they discussed the recent state of school fires and Jeff called Jalas ‘stupid’.
A video which has been circulating online shows a rather angry Jalas telling Jeff never to call him stupid again.
But speaking to Heads Up, Jalas clarified that it was just an act.
“That was just all an act on radio and I have no beef with Jeff. We are good friends, in fact, he has invited me to his place for a drink,” he said.
Jalas, who has resigned from Hot 96 FM went ahead to pen an emotional tribute to his fans.
“Last Friday was my last day at @hot96fmkenya I must say it's been a ride and a half...1 year 4 amazing months of hard work and delivery.
“I want to take this special opportunity to thank The entire Family of Royal media especially The hot 96 Team. Very special mention to Fred Afune who believed in me and assured me that this will work even when no one believed!
“You gave me an opportunity of a lifetime and see what we created in just 1 year and 4 months...a monster show.
“Waruru Wachira...the man behind the brand Jalango...most of you don't know that Waruru discovered me thank you so much!”
Jalas will be heading to Milele FM, where he will be hosting the morning show with Alex Mwakideu, formerly of Radio Maisha.
