What if Harry Potter was a black series?

Well, the franchise is the hot topic on social media at the moment after Twitter users reimagined the characters in the book and movies as black people

The hashtag #BlackHogwarts has gone viral as the universe’s lovers trooped to it to fix “the supposed lack of diversity.”

On Twitter, viral memes are taking shape as several Twitter users shared their views, imagination and interpretation of JK Rowling's blockbuster magic school with a sprinkle of phenomenal black people.

The tweets have indeed reached Rowling who, according to Business Insider, voiced her approval of the memes after a fan prodded her.

She responded that she was "seeing them and loving them. #BlackHogwarts," perhaps an inclination that something could change? Who knows…

For instance, one meme has California rapper Snoop Dogg teaching herbology, multimillionaire Sean "Diddy" Combs designing Quidditch uniforms and Morgan Freeman as Dumbledore among others.

Take a look, immerse yourself in the new 'Wakanda,' the black Harry Potter…
