After severally being subjected to brute police force, Uganda’s opposition leader Kizza Besigye has come up with an ingenious way to minimise injury to passengers in his car.
Through his Twitter account, Besigye revealed his method which in case of violence, is “meant to minimise injury to occupants and reduce cost of replacing glasses.”
On November 17th, Besigye uploaded several photos of his white Land Cruiser reinforced with metallic grills on the windshield and windows.

The ex-presidential candidate used to be President Yoweri Museveni's personal doctor but they fell out and he went on to become an opposition leader.

Besigye has since been subjected to police harassment and brutality by the Ugandan Police.
