Popular songstress Akothee was involved in a road mishap in Nairobi’s Westlands area. The Baby daddy hitmaker was traveling to Nairobi from his rural home in Rongo to meet her girls at a popular joint for lunch when her car broke down on top of a bridge.

According to her narration, the studs in one of the wheels of her car fell off as the car was in motion. Luckily, the vehicle did not ram the side of bridge as the driver managed to stop on time.

Stranded, Akothee says that a police vehicle pulled behind her car and two officers came out to help fix the tire.

“I shed tears when I saw them struggle to fix the tire, we needed new studs” the self-proclaimed Madam Boss narrated.

Akothee says she was particularly touched by an old man had cycled past them but then cycled back having found some studs on the road. The old man did not accept her appreciation though and that only melted her heart further. “I gave him some money he refused to take, oooh, none of them was a Luo, I was not in Luo land , I was far away from home.” She said stressing on the need for Kenyans to maintain togetherness irrespective of one’s tribe or political inclination.
