Rapper King Kaka has released the video Thug Love featuring singer Yviona a single off his seventh Its The King Mixtape.
The song tells the typical Kenyan love story. ''There is always that lady who waits for her man at home, calling him to ask where he is. So many men are in the streets trying to make ends meet so that they can provide a better life for their families," says King Kaka.
Prior to the release, the rapper was spotted in the CBD being arrested following suspicion of selling drugs. It was only minutes later when the bag was confiscated that it was found that its contents were song albums for sale. The police released him after being each given an album.
However, the scene did not stop photos going round the internet and speculation that the rapper had actually been arrested. Refraining from making comment until the release of the video, the rapper did well to create buzz around the video.
For Yviona, she had this to say about working with King Kaka ''Working with King kaka has been a great experience. The first time I heard the beat I fell in love with it.”
