He was rumored to be involved with a groupie, he was accused of abusing an underage girl (a very serious accusation that somehow faded without much of an investigation) and was also reportedly spotted in Ngara looking for whores.

These are just some of the rumors that have continually dogged Willy Paul who came out to clarify these issues.

The gospel artist, in an interview on Str8up Live and Loud show, started by explaining that by virtue of being chosen by the Lord, the devil has been working extra hard to bring him down. That is the reason for his woes but maintains that God is always by his side.

He cautions people against believing everything they see and hear about Willy Paul.

About the allegations of him seeking out prostitutes in Ngara, Willy explains that he does go around looking for prostitutes as part of the Extreme Reachout Program.

Established by Pastor Peter Mulei, MC Davie and Willy Paul himself, the Extreme Reachout is an evangelism program that aims clear the streets of commercial sex workers. They visit areas that have these commercial sex workers and talk to them in an effort to pinpoint the reason why the prostitutes engage in the practice.

With this information, they have been able to bring a substantial number of people to the light through their evangelism.

The program is continually showing great results.

Asked about the 100K he charges for collabos, Willy scoffed and blamed the media for sensationalizing news. According to him, he does not necessarily charge that much, it totally depends on whether the artist can afford it.
