Any doubts that the “BET Hip Hop Awards” would deliver an incredible show were quickly put to rest as hip hop’s elite celebrated another incredible year at the Boisfeuillet Jones Center in Atlanta. The show was hosted by Snoop Dogg who ensured that everyone was treated to a night like no other.
The star of the show was Kendrick Lamar, who walked away with a massive 5 awards, followed by Canadian rapper Drake, who managed to scoop four awards in a night that was filled with electric performances from some of hip-hop’s top artists.
As usual, the BET Cypher did not disappoint. With artists ranging from A$AP Rocky to Kendrick Lamar and support from comedian Kevin Hart, fans were in for a treat.
The telecast airs on October 18th on BET (Channel 135 on DSTV).
