Six more secondary school principals in the county have been transferred in a move aimed at improving education standards.
Long-serving Ngurwe-ini Secondary School principal Francis Mutemwa has been moved to Gititu Secondary School in Gatanga.
Mr Mutemwa takes over from Joseph Muchiri who has been moved to Gatitu-ini Secondary School in Kandara.
Gatitu-ini principal Peter Mwangi Muraguri has been sent to Ngurwe-ini Secondary School to replace Mr Mutemwa.

Teachers Service Commission (TSC) has also sent Gitura Girls principal Mary Mwangi to Rarakwa Girls Secondary School to replace Margaret Mutaga.
Ms Mutaga was moved to Murang'a Catholic Diocese-sponsored Ng'araria Girls High School to replace Esther Kariuki, who heads to Ruchu Girls High School.
Kahuhia Girls High School deputy Virginia Wamunji has been promoted and deployed to Gitura Girls.
Other schools affected by the transfers are Gitui and Mukurwe wa Nyagathanga.
The transfers followed the retirement of Bishop Ngandu Girls Principal Jane Kiraguri. Her place was taken by Virginia Wahome from Ruchu Girls High School.
A source at TSC revealed that more transfers targeting those who have overstayed at their stations were in the offing.
