It is hard to find a workplace that doesn’t have a nosy and nasty boss informer, and not that all bosses care to have one anyway.
The informer will gather all staff gossip and rush to pour it out in the big office. Even the most innocuous joke is full blown and maliciously woven and salted before it is dispatched to the big man or woman.
Their snooping is driven either by job insecurity, real or imagined, an inferiority complex and greed for a fast climb up the office ladder.
The plot, thus, is to dent the reputation of colleagues by bad mouthing them to stifle their progress or get them sacked, eliminating competition in the process and improving their own pay and perks.
