Three people died on Wednesday night, July 20 after a 14-seater matatu collided head-on with a lorry at Mulot in Narok County.
The victims were aboard a Galaxy Shuttle matatu that was heading to Kisii from Nairobi.
In a report filed under the OB Number 24/20/7/2022 at the Mulot Police Station, the three passengers, two men and a woman, died on the spot.
Police said eight matatu passengers sustained serious injuries and were taken to the Longisa County Referral Hospital.

Eyewitnesses said the matatu rolled several times on the Narok-Bomet highway after the head-on collision that occurred at around 8:30pm.
According to police, the Galaxy matatu, which had ten passengers on board, swerved to avoid hitting a motorcyclist, resulting in the head-on collision with an oncoming Isuzu FRR lorry.
Police said the lorry driver sustained soft tissue injuries in his right leg. A male passenger, who was in the lorry, escaped unhurt, police said.
Bodies of the victims were taken to the Longisa County Referral Hospital morgue.
The wreckages of the vehicles were taken to Ololulunga Police Station.
