One person died and 13 were injured after the driver of a matatu lost control near Mosoriot along the Kapsabet-Eldoret road.
John Munyoki, who was onboard the Public Service Vehicle that was heading to Kisii, said the Glokonza Sacco vehicle had 14 passengers.
"I heard a loud sound from the rear side of the vehicle and it started going zigzag on the road. We later found ourselves entangled on the seats and the women on board were screaming," said Mr Munyoki.
