A deputy governor somewhere is sitting pretty waiting for the world to explode on his boss.
It is said that the recently elected governor has no academic papers. This means that the chap may not only lose his seat but also face a long jail term for forgery and other related crimes.
It is emerging that even though the governor has been claiming that he attended a Nairobi based public university for his undergraduate studies and ultimately did a masters, he has never been a student there.
This new twist now puts his deputy at a prime position to inherit the county for the law states that in the event of the governor being disqualified or death, the running mate automatically takes over.
These are just the windmills of the gods which could propel a man or woman into power.
