Politicians have over the years been known to receive large sums of cash as their salaries
Politicians' salaries usually vary depending on the position in which they serve.
However, this is never the case sometimes.
According to Nakuru gubernatorial aspirant Dr Koros, cartels usually infiltrate government by giving hefty sums of money to politicians during campaigns and demand for a favour or the money back later, when the aspirant gets into office. This makes the politician use a lot of money to pay the cartels instead of benefiting his/her constituency or county.
A vocal politician who has made a name for himself for rabble rousing is now the laughing stock of his critics.

The politician who is eying a governor’s seat in Western has been sending desperate appeals for funding from his constituents, saying he needs money to pay agents.
What is amusing is that the man who has been in politics for over 10 years as an MP, has nothing to show in terms of investments.
Now his critics are accusing him of having used all his earnings to marry multiple wives who are said to use public transport while he is drawing hefty allowances for travel.
