What is Kenya Power in Homa Bay County really up to when a school is subjected to continuous power outages since last July?

That Ondiko Primary School, situated in Kasipul sub-county, has been without power for the last eight months is really a big joke on the part of the company.

What requirements could the school with 354 students have failed to meet?

Interestingly, a live transformer stands right inside the institution's compound; the building is connected to the electricity line.

The school has reported the matter to the Rural Electrification Authority (REA) county director but not a single attempt has been made to rectify the fault.
