The presidency of any country is a symbol of unity. The office is supposed to offer sound leadership, and guide a nation to economic prosperity.
The current Kenyan presidency, under Uhuru Kenyatta and his deputy William Ruto, is most of the times, occupied with rhetoric and propaganda. Of particular concern to me is the continuous verbal attack on Raila Odinga.
Any insult to the ODM leader is an insult to Kenyans who identify with what he stands for. We all know that Raila has been one of the ‘bees’ that are ‘stinging‘ the government by exposing grand corruption. That is why the Jubilee brigade hates him to the core.
We want to see the Presidency leading in upholding the spirit of our new constitution. We are tired of jubilee’s obsession with tirades stemming from Raila-phobia politics.
