It is with great shock that so many complains from citizens walking along Nairobi's streets are heard and no actions are taken by the County government.

Despite the good work done by the police, in arresting robbery suspects, the city askaris are just being ignorant in handling complains from citizens. A day cannot end before you hear a citizen talk of being robbed by street children who carry with them weapons that even the muscular guys cannot resist but only surrender their belongings.

One can walk along Eldoret Town streets at wee hours of the night and be surprised that, the place is clear and can receive a call in a relaxed way. Compared to Nairobi, where one is so much alert in holding a phone, in the state ready to fly (Flight mode) in case somebody gets near him or her. You can easily mistake one to be an athlete.

This menace could be reduced by simply applying the governance of Hon. Jackson Mandago of Uasin Gishu County. If Edoret is the Home of champions, and surely it is, cleaning the Nairobi's streets could simply earn it a sweet name such as, “The city of sweet scent"
