Campus politics is one of the topics everyone fears to talk about but is too dear to the "owners”.  Every time we hear about elections in Universities we always predict chaos, which is mostly the case and sometimes precious lives are lost. But why?

Campus politics is replica of what happens in the national politics which are mostly violent. The environment we live in dictates majorly on the kind of people we are. I am remember an old adage that when you walk with a thief definitely the bullet awaits you too.

Campus politics are like materialistic 'love' relationships full of pretense, hypocrisy and betrayals where the highest bidder takes the day.

Today you have an ally tomorrow he or she is an enemy because of the “brown envelopes”, loaded with money.

Next time you see them running on streets just know that your neighbor is the biggest influence not your MCA, MP, or your Governor.

Looking at the cases of arson in schools, we don’t have to blame the students. Take a look at their immediate environment, who are their role models?  In our country where we never listen to each others grievances but resolve our scores on the streets. Those who are at the helm of leadership in all spheres of life should be good mentors.
