All people diagnosed with HIV in the county will be introduced to anti-retroviral therapy immediately.
County Director of Health Services Jack Magaara said the shift from the former treatment of the disease that would be based on the CD4 count was prompted by new researches, which revealed that early treatment was effective in suppressing the virus.
