Arsenal pursuit of Gonzalo Higuain boosted

Arsenal are in need of a striker ahead of the 2016-17 season and this could be boosted by the imminent signing of Napoli star Gonzalo Hiquains.

According to media reports, Napoli are considering the sale of the Argentinian to Arsenal rather than their rival Juventus.

Eurosport reports that Aurelio De Laurentiis will certainly opt to sell Higuain to Arsenal , on a release clause of €94 million.

However, Arsenal may not be in a position to meet the clause, prompting them to 0ffer €50 million plus Olivier Giroud to secure a deal.

Higuain has made 35 appearances and scored 36 goals for Napoli last season.
