Kenya Rugby Sevens star Collins Injera is leading the ongoing voting race in World Rugby greatest moments.
The Kenyan boy is ahead with a massive 19,000 votes followed by Japan for beating South Africa with a mere 2,500 votes.
Injera was nominated few days ago after he broke the all-time try scoring record at the London Sevens this year eclipsing Santiago Gomez Cora’s record of 230 tries and fans are urged to vote for him online through - http://www.worldrugby.org/greatestmoment
Currently, the Kenya Sevens star has 235 tries – the highest in Sevens series’ history and he is up against the likes of Tony Stanger’s Grand Slam winning try in 1990, the late Jonah Lomu’s performance against England at Rugby World Cup 1995, Japan’s historic win against South Africa at Rugby World Cup 2015 and Joel Stransky’s drop goal in Rugby World Cup 1995 final.
The greatest moments will be showcased in a permanent home for the first time later this year in the World Rugby Hall of Fame.
