The visit of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to Africa and particularly Kenya after a long period of time is a good one.
Both Kenya and Israel need each other to grow. Israel is surrounded by Arab 'enemies', and that has never challenged its growth, so the PM should share with the Kenyan government on how to deal with Al Shabaab, which has been fighting the country for a long time.
Further, Israel turned its arid land to a food basket to fight hunger and starvation through irrigation, and as such, it should share this knowledge with Kenya.
Apart from the multi-million-shilling irrigation project on Tana River that the Israeli government sponsors, they should do more of such projects across the country to handle the food situation.
Therefore, the visit should bring more goodies to Kenya.
