Senator Mike Sonko has no right to turn Uhuru Park into a matatu terminus in any case, whether he becomes the governor or President.
Former President Daniel Moi tried to put the park to another use without success. He had wanted to build the country's tallest building at the site.

The park plays host to recreational facilities besides being a landmark of the city. Let Sonko think of any other thing but he has to forget Uhuru Park.
