Gatundu South member of parliament honorable Moses Kuria is a changed man after four days in the cold cells of Pangani police station. He is like the Biblical Saul who on the road to Damascus to persecute Christians, God blinds him for three days before his conversion to a follower of Christ and a preacher of the Gospel.
The legislator has three pending cases in court over utterances the court finds inciteful. The latest that landed him behind bars being the allegations that he called for the assasination of former Prime Minister, Raila Odinga.
In a suprise change of tongue, the mascular organ of the Legislator is now preaching peace and cohesion among Kenyans.
Should Kenyans trust that Kuria is a changed man?
Just like the Biblical Saul, it would be difficult to trust Kuria to tame his tongue but he may be a changed man. It takes years to build trust and forever to repair it. Moses Kuria and the now infamous 'Pangani six' should walk the talk and preach togetherness among Kenyans. They should leave a lasting impact like the Biblical Saul who was converted to Paul and preached the gospel around the world.
