Since the advent of devolution, we have witnessed horrible instances such as mistreatment of patients by the health workers.

Recently, patients died due to lack of oxygen in the ICU.

While everything keeps on going wrong, we are being told by the county bosses that all is well in our hospitals.

County governments claim they cannot take care of striking nurses due to lack funds, while the national government claims to have disbursed all the funds. Who is telling the truth?

These are all happening at a time when the Opposition leader, Raila Odinga, claims that the medical scheme for counties is a big scandal.
