Collins Shivachi headed in a second-half goal as Tusker came from behind to draw 2-2 with Ushuru.

Tusker will count themselves lucky to have picked at least a point from the match after Michael Khamati scored their second goal from what looked like an offside position.

Ushuru took the lead in this match played at Kenyatta Stadium in Machakos when Eric Okoth slotted home in the first half.

The draw will ease some pressure on Tusker coach Paul Nkata who has been on the radar since taking over from Francis Kimanzi this season.

The Brewers started the second half on a high note something that was lacking in the first half.

They had the ball in the net twice but both were ruled out for being offside before Khamati scored the controversial equaliser.

Their joy was, however, short-lived as Rodgers Ochieng put Ushuru back in the lead from a hopeful punt towards goal.

David Okello will, however, take the blame for the goal as it was a harmless ball which he should have blocked.

Tusker then upped the pressure after the goal and Collins Shivachi rescued a point from a Humphrey Mieno corner.

In the second match of the day at Machakos Stdaium, Sofapaka’s losing streak continued as they were beaten 1-0 by Bandari.

Sofapaka had lost by a similar score line to Rangers last week.

The loss to Rangers was on the back of a 5-2 hammering in the third round of this season’s Kenyan Premier League.

Musa Mudde scored the all-important goal for the dockers in the second half following Anthony Kimani’s free-kick.

Batoto ba Mungu will however, feel hard done by the loss as they were much better than in previous matches.

To add insult to injury the free-kick that was awarded for the goal just looked like an old-fashioned shoulder charge but centre referee Amos Wanjala thought otherwise.
