A father accused of ejecting teachers from class while wielding a stick was arraigned in court yesterday.
Duncan Ogola was charged with creating a disturbance in a manner likely to cause a breach of peace at Shariffa Junior School on February 9 by chasing teachers.
He was also accused of insulting the teachers and threatening to demolish classrooms. Ogola, a parent at the school, became angry after his children were sent home for lack of school fees.
He pleaded guilty and asked the court to pardon him, saying he is the sole breadwinner for his two children.
The matter will be mentioned next month. In the same court, a 39-year-old man was charged with stealing school chairs.
