In pictures: More KDF soldiers rescued from Somalia airlifted to Nairobi

Nairobi, Kenya: More Kenya Defence Forces soldiers rescued from Somalia arrived at Wilson Airport, Nairobi; Monday afternoon. Present to receive them was Defence CS Raychelle Omamo and CDF Samson mwathethe.

Last Fridays surprise attack by Al- Shabaab militias on the El-Adde military camp occupied by the Kenya Defense Forces (KDF) who are part of the African Union Mission in Somalia (Amisom) left an unspecified number of Kenyan soldiers dead with several others nursing serious injuries. The wounded have since been airlifted to hospitals in Nairobi for specialized medical care.
