Something is terribly going wrong with our education system as nothing Kenyans say is being taken seriously.
According to lecturers from various public universities under the umbrella, Education Management Society of Kenya, our university councils are full of inexperienced staff.
That explains why they demanded that the composition of university councils and boards of management in technical institutions have a national outlook.
It is worrying that there are mushrooming universities and colleges in the country at the expense of quality education. The greatest problem is that our society is actually suffering from poor quality graduates emerging from both public and private institutions.
The Government should not allow this to continue in our country as it is hurting higher learning institutions.
