The African Union must move with speed to help the situation in Burundi before it gets worse.
Burundi’s crisis began in April when President Pierre Nkurunziza announced his intention to run for a controversial third term.
This is the right time for AU to step in by sending peacekeepers to this country to help stop the violence.
If the AU succeeds to put off this war before it becomes a civil war, it will be a big step for the team towards enhancing peace in Africa.
The war in Burundi could greatly affect Africa more so its neighbours.
