We have no otherwise apart from embracing the GMO technology since it has a number of benefits.
Past research has shown that Kenya is a food-deficit country. By embracing GMOs, the country will have sufficient produce to feed the population.
But before we embrace this technology, we must first exploit the untapped potential of our agricultural sectors to ensure everything is right.
