Keiyo Teachers Sacco members will have to wait longer to know if they can develop a disputed 100 acre piece of land.
This is after Eldoret Environment and Land Court adjourned a case the Sacco has filed against Kenya Prisons accusing them of grabbing the land they purchased from the National Social Security Fund (NSSF) in 2004.
The court adjourned the matter after Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital (MTRH) in Eldoret filed an application seeking to be enjoined in the case that has dragged for more than 10 years.
The presiding judge Justice Anthony Ombwayo said the application by MTRH will be heard on September 29. But the Sacco through their advocate Joseph Cheptarus contested the move to enjoin MTRH in the case saying it would delay determination of the case.
